Metal carpentry and certified welding in Parma
Welding, assembly and installation of industrial plants
For over twenty-five years, we have been working with flexibility and precision to produce industrial machines, components and pressure tanks.
We consolidate our expertise in welding and metal carpentry by serving the food, canning, automotive, chemical, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, energy and biotechnology industries.
Each operator in our welding team is licensed and periodically certified. With the support of high-precision gauges, we guarantee smooth and burr-free welds, using high-performance materials such as stainless steel, aluminium, brass and cast iron.
How we make components and tanks
By relying on B.F.B. Group you are choosing a specialised partner at every stage of the production process: we take care of the welding and machining of custom-designed components by in-house engineers.
We certify welding and related processes to comply with the relevant regulations; we guarantee the quality and safety of our products and services.
Does your industry require certified welding and metal carpentry?
Welding operations
We have a solid reputation when it comes to our certified T.I.G., M.I.G. and M.A.G. Electrode welds, carried out by experienced technicians on resistant materials.
Our precision is crucial for the design and manufacture of industrial equipment such as ultra-high vacuum chambers.
We deal with the integration of piping and the assembly of equipment to avoid contamination in the food and pharmaceutical industries.
Brazing, an alternative to welding
An alternative method we offer is brazing, which allows two metal pieces to be joined without the need for casting. Filler metal is used, which creeps between the parts to be assembled thanks to the capillarity of the materials. It is particularly useful at an industrial level where it is essential to avoid the overheating of components or when traditional brazing is not possible.
We also use the braze welding technique, which involves the use of filler materials with higher melting temperatures than soft brazing.
Our welding and metalwork solutions
PED pressure tanks
Among the most popular systems we offer pressure tanks that comply with Directive 2014/68/EU (formerly 97/23/EC).
They are used in a variety of industries: our engineers design them by carefully considering parameters such as shape, wall thickness and material used.
We build anything from the smallest equipment to large industrial tanks. Our production process involves rigorous checks and inspections before commissioning.
Our PED pressure tanks stand out thanks to:
Hygiene
We design tanks with a special focus on hygiene, ensuring that your products are stored in optimal conditions.
Flexibility
We can customise every aspect of the tank to meet your specific needs
Wear resistance
We use high-quality materials and advanced manufacturing processes to ensure wear resistance over time.
